A scent of roses is all over town

A sensuous scent experience June 5-20, 2010
In time for the rose bloom, the "Baden Rose Days" take place every year with musical events that entice hundreds of visitors to the "Orangey" in the middle of the rosarium in Doblhoffpark every year. The Rose Festival on June 5 is the setting for the official opening.
Other highlights are the magnificent cut rose exhibition with impressive rose arrangements and the traditional Baden Rose Ball on June 19, 2010.

The program:

Day one

Arrival in Baden and check-in at your hotel. We welcome you with a rose cocktail. You can then experience a walking tour through this endearing Biedermeier town and see the Kaiserhaus, Beethoven House, Frauenbad and much more before the evening is concluded with a visit to a cosy wine tavern.

Day two

Today, a unique walk through the historical rose garden awaits you, the largest rosarium in Austria in the park of the former moated castle Weikersdorf. Stroll along 20,000 rose bushes with more than 600 varieties bearing famous names mostly during a professional guided tour.
After this truly enticing scent walk, we will show you the cult movie "Rosa Deum" in the orangery before you enjoy a delicious coffee break in these truly magnificent surroundings.
You also have to possibility to listen to a summer spa concert at the bandstand of the wonderful spa park (weather allowing)
In the evening, we serve a rose menu.

Day three

You start your journey home with a rose souvenir.
